I have a black granite-resin sink and have the same problem: it looks fine when wet but a bit dull and marked when dry. Will try the baby oil. Will KY Jelly work better?Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0

NO this is wrong ON ALL ASTRACAST warranty cards it states they do not recommend abrasives or scouring pads as it harms the product (sheffield)0 -
I bought 4 years ago a kitchen from B & Q recently i have noticed pin holes and rust appearing i contacted B & Q who in turn contacted ASTRACAST sinks i was asked via these what did i clean my sink with i stated diluted Bleach spray? i was told ASTRACAST DO NOT recommend this?
Warranty card of ASTRACAST DOES recommend 30 min of diluted bleach which is contrary to their customer representatives in addition they recommend ONLY wire baskets to be used in their sinks and NOT PLASTIC BOWLS.
Anyone who uses a plastic Bowl like myself their warranty is void as i have found out but what surprised me more was that B & Q who recommended the bowl on part purchases of a whole kitchen is NOT AWARE of the small print in ASTRACAST warranty cards thus a lot of customers who have been denied a warranty claim may have a point with the companies selling ASTRACAST SINKS that do not point this VOID WARRANTY disclosure.
At present B & Q are looking into my claim of warranty as well as where do they stand having recommended me a plastic bowl in my sink and not a wire basket. However B & Q have stated that a lot of customers have complained of RUST SPOTS in their ASTRACAST sinks i wonder how many have been fobbed off by ASTRACAST customer representatives?0
