Yes very much so, even though my husband's sister in law and his sister have both received one, my husband has still not been forthcoming!0 -

perhaps the midwives could put a note in the 'leaving hospital' bag..... far more useful then SOME of the stuff you get given.
:jloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Baby's handprint - put it in a wooden frame (Wilko's do some) then write around on the frame " This is the hand you used to hold when I was only 5 months old"
I, too, am still waiting for the eternity ring - maybe the clue is in the name!!!:jPobodys Nerfect:j0 -

I want to buy something for my wife from our son who is 5 months old. As it is our first Christmas as a new family I wanted to do something special that she would realy like. I don't want to spend a lot as I am already buying her a digital camera from me. If anybody has got any suggestions or ideas I would be extremely grateful.
thanks
Chris
No suggestions but have a happy christmas, top man.0 -
Hubby said about an eternity ring for me. but i still can't find one i like. lol. mainly because my engagement ring is so huge that i want the eternity ring to be very simple and danity.
My daughter was 8 weeks old at her first xmas and she bought me a really simple, plain beautiful gold torgue bangle. Then when she was 6 months old she bite it and it now has the dent of her front two top teeth, which just looks so cute so even more memoraible ,lol.0 -
What a loevly idea. Can't add tothe great suggestions - but hope youall enjoy your special first family Christmas!
Oh and yeah...seems no-one told my DH about eternity rings either! We have had 6 DC (yes 6 LOL) and not an eternity ring in sight....sigh...0 -
On my sons first Xmas i got a little heart shaped compact mirror, and engraved on the back was " i love you mummy, from son", needless to say i just burst into tears of delight (ok, well maybe the hormones played a part too)!0

Whatever you get her from the baby I'm sure she'll be over the moon, whether it cost 50p or £50! Just the fact you bothered will be enough - trust me!
I was going to suggest the handprint mold too. I did one of my babies foot and I shall keep it forever!!50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:
