Euro CAr Park fine - Control Account PLC Letter

Hi (I'm a long-time lurker but have never yet bothered to register!)
I too have just had a letter threatening litigation ("our Legal Department has now assessed your file and considers your account viable for Ligation") after a long period of silence. Perhaps they were trying to get out hopes up that they'd given up!
As I seem to be at the same point in the process I can't give you any advice but would love to know, like you, if anyone else has had this letter and got any further?

It's the same hollow threat that can safely be ignored. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

You may be among the first to report this letter if it's different from the usual Contral Account letters shown on this thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803
If your letter is different, could you scan it or take a digital camera pic of it (minus your details, the reference and any barcode)? Post a link to it as a reply on that thread so that Crabman can add it to the 'known letters'. State on that thread which PPC issued the original ticket and explain which letters you got, if different from those already shown.
Thanks - it really helps newbies to see these scans!
The letter, even if beautifully worded, will still be hogwash, of course! They always threaten litigation, that's how they get people to pay up (not you though).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was given a ticket in Sainsburys for parking in a disabled bay - it was at the far end of the row with no other cars around and I didn't realise it was a disabled bay. I ignored the ticket and the letter from Euro which followed it. I have ignored the two letters from Control Account and they have now found my phone number and are trying to contact me. It's getting a bit close for comfort now - what do you suggest I should do now?0

Ignore or tell them to go forth and multiply / take a long walk off a short pier / refer them to Arkell v. Pressdram
- take your pick!0 -

Carry on ignoring or read other threads where people have asked similar questions about harassment by private parking company debt collectors. I searched specifically for posts where the link to the National Debtline Harassment Factsheet had been posted (mainly by me!):

Read those, especially the ones where someone has been getting phone calls. Plenty of useful answers and advice has been posted about this issue in recent months.
Then as Alexis says, take your pick as to what fun you have with the idiots - or report them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
