Free extra channels for Virgin customers for 2 months

Not sure if people already know?? But...
I've just rang Virgin to ask about installing a second box in the bedroom, and the lady said cos I've been a customer for a long time (3 years) I was entitled to a free upgrade from my usual starter package for 2 months!

She said I would get extra movie, sports & music channels. I've checked as I got off the phone & I have tons of extra channels (well it seems tons to me, gone from 55 channels to 100 :rotfl:) also got a few cartoon channels, Disney etc.

Worth a call!

Just remember to ring to cancel before the 2 months is up!!

This is true but it depends on what offers you already have..
I was offered it , then refused because i have another deal. All she could do was knock £1.50 off the monthely charge of £23.. no thanks lol

I'm only on the basic starter package, £5.50 a month, and don't have any other deals on my account.

Yeah we have two XL boxes. I want some free channels! It would be nice to get Sky Sports for less than the £25 they are charging too. I might get it then...

if you phone up and say you want to cancel and switch to sky they allways give you a freebie offer

No they don't told me put up or go to sky.

They offered us no discount at all. It cost over £100 for the box and then I think it costs £5 a month plus £7 a month for the TV service. Certainly not cheap. Think it's poor they didn't give any discount, especially having an XL package with them already.

We are on XL,with a basic box in the lounge,Our son has just had a V+ box installed in his bedroom for £50 and then £5 a month-We are also considering getting a third basic box for daughters room at a cost of £30 and then £5 a month.
I think V+ box was a special offer as our area has recently gone through the digital switchover.If we wanted a second V+ box it would cost a lot more as offer is only for first V+ box in house.
