Virgin TV customers - free channels for xmas!!

Options
Not sure if people already know?? But...
I've just rang Virgin to ask about installing a second box in the bedroom, and the lady said cos I've been a customer for a long time (3 years) I was entitled to a free upgrade from my usual starter package for 2 months!

She said I would get extra movie, sports & music channels. I've checked as I got off the phone & I have tons of extra channels (well it seems tons to me, gone from 55 channels to 100 :rotfl:) also got a few cartoon channels, Disney etc.

Worth a call!

Just remember to ring to cancel before the 2 months is up!!

Be careful with this Virgin offer.

I ordered a tv subscription on 4th dec - as the website claims that all orders made before the 9th Dec. will be installed before Christmas.

When I received a response I was given the installation date of 30 Dec.
    Not in time for christmas.
The only response from them is "sorry it can't be done".

so unless you already have virgin tv, and are just after an upgrade, I wouldn't believe what you read on their website.

Make sure you phone up after the 2 months to cancel it as they won't do it automatically and they just take advantage of that. I got stung by this about a year ago, and it wasn't until after I spotted on the bill I had been charged that I realised what had happened!
