i thought you were saying why would they refer you to a job when you are not going to be able to do anything about it at least until the 29th and in most cases not until after new year. some companies have 2 weeks off at xmas.0 -
I had to go in every week for 6 weeks, then after that it went back to every fortnight.Today I signed on for the last time and she pulled out a list of all the jobs that were given to me at the every week interviews by the adviser, I had to put a yes or No in a check box if I had applied for them or not, seems like they are hotting up on things now!! This will give people even more stress.0

at least now most jobs can be applied for via email. so if they ever refer you to a job you arent interested in you dont have to invest too much time or effort in it coz it takes seconds to send an email. you will also have proof you applied for it in your sent box if they ever dispute it.0 -

Blimey was this when they made you sign on every week for 6 weeks ? I have never had to sign on every week for 6 weeks.
have you got a job now then if you are signing for the last time ?0 -

i've seen people talk about this signing every week for 6 weeks here but they've never done this to me. i guess i must be lucky. they have done a jobsearch with me every week for 6 weeks before but in the 3 weeks that werent signing days they just phoned me at home to do the jobsearch.0
