I went in to McD's and asked why it was not on here (Tyne Tees region).  And it's because they are trialling a new product here. A toasted sandwich (can't remember if they said paninis).
So there you go - they obviously can't cope with too many things at once  ::)

they were complaining about it on metro radio either yesterday morning or thismorning (the days all blend into one these days)

and they said that this was indeed the reason

"because we are doing the trial for the deli toasted sandwich range"

well thats fine... but i cant see why it would affect the BOGOF offer.
surely they are having to still make big macs n the likes...

But if you do a BOGOF offer on an old popular product at the same time as you are trying to find out the sales potential for a new untested product, you will not get accurate results.
