lol - I wouldn't take it personally.
I saw that on the ad and thought it was really strange that they can exclude just one region.
The macdonalds bogof offer was posted on the grab it boards and I asked if anyone knew the reason but I didn't get a reply.
I dont live in that region and I dont eat macdonalds 'cos I'm a veggie but I do find it bizarre and am interested to know the reason ???Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
you can still get bogof if you are a veggie, you can get either quorn burger or fish fillet every day the bogof is on, though they don't advertise that.0

I dont eat fish as I see that as an animal. I dont like the quorn stuff either ;D
If I take my girls I have a mcflurry ;D ;D ;D Any excuse for ice cream ;DSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
May be because they are frachises. You may note that a lot of offers say "not available at some outlets".
Thanks for the tip about the veggie. Guess where I am going for lunch~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Is the offer definitely not on up there? It doesn't say anything on their website about the offer only being in certain parts of the country, though they don't have full T&Cs on there.0

i have no idea about the tyne tees area :-(
both our mcdonalds are franchised (i live in the midlands) but both are running the promotion.
the bit about a free quorn or filet is in tiny letters on the poster.52% tight0 -
Quite often companies test offers and new products in one area to see if they are going to work nationally.
For some reason Tyne Tees is fairly representative of the whole country. If a new product sells there, it will generally work nationwide.
You may find McDonalds ran this promotion already in your area and can't do the same again because that would be unfair on its franchiseees?
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

I went in to McD's and asked why it was not on here (Tyne Tees region). And it's because they are trialling a new product here. A toasted sandwich (can't remember if they said paninis).
So there you go - they obviously can't cope with too many things at once ::)0 -
Dont know if thats the reason. One of those collect every week childrens sciences mags has just been advertised on telly. For some bizarre reason it isnt available in the Tyne Tees region. What is it with the population in this area - are they not allowed to have anything~A mind is a terrible thing to waste on housework~0
