New Thorntons offer today - free box chocs with £25 spend

I wonder at what point they decided to cancel peoples orders, I ordered 11.29am on Monday, ive just double checked Hermes website and ive definately got something out for delivery from Thorntons.

Just to clarify, Thorntons website showed that funny digit thing with order processing at the bottom (further up where it showed what I ordered it said delivery date 10th Dec) all day yesterday. 5pmish last night I got an email from Thorntons saying item had been dispatched with a tracking number for me to clik on - this took me to Hermes website which didnt show any information (Thorntons email did say it could take upto 72 hours to show). This morning Hermes showed the arrived at Hub, arrived at depot, processed at depot (around 9am) and within an hour of me first checking it then updated with "out for delivery 5.38am". Checked back on Thorntons website and logged into my account history and it showed the funny digit thing (although time had changed by 3 mins) again underneath the original one of processing, along with the tracking code and "order has been despatched".

Dont give up hope yet

At the top of my order it says Standard Delivry (Parcelnet) 10/12/09

Does it still go via this Hermes if it says Parcelnet?

To clarify, at the top mine says delivery 9/12/09 by Parcelnet, at the bottom I have this:

01/01/1900 23:50:00

Your order for XXXXXXXXX is being processed.

01/01/1900 23:53:00

Your order for XXXXXXXX has been despatched.

And I have had no emails since the order confirmation.

Well the good news today is we had a delivery for the continentals today, but the box was squished and crushed, im sure the chocs are fine but wouldn't be suitable to give as a gift, is it too cheeky to complain or is that what we get for cheap choccies?

Mine is identical BUT I did get a cancellation email

Maybe admin team sent the cancellation emails but the processing team still went ahead with the err em processing!!! lol

I went for normal delivery on just the £50 hamper

Got cancel email

order not changed from "processing"

guess I missed out.
