You can make small quantities of jam in the microwave. You do need a large bowl compared with the amount of fruit and to keep a good eye on it.

All you need to make jam is a gurt big pan, lots of fruit anf lots of sugar;)

    Why overcomplicate life?
  • You can make jam in some breadmakers. Sorry I don't know the makes but I know a few people who have breadmakers that do this. Look for the cheapest ones as I am sure that's what they all bought. I think one was an own make from the Co op. I hope that helps.

  • I expect someone will come along with a recipe but I'm deeply sceptical about it -how do you get a rolling boil in a slow cooker? You do need hot hot heat for jam;)
  • I agree with thriftlady but you can make jam in a breadmaker
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Yes, you need the rolling boil to get the set. Can't you make it for her?
