Has anyone got a Hi sleeper bed - wobbly question?

Due to high sleepers having very long legs would make them less stable than other types of bed, so in general they would wobble more.
All argos metal beds in my experience tend to wobble alot, but this is mainly due to the fact that most of what Argos sell are cheap rubbish at an inflated price.0 -

^^ What he said. Also they are more likely to wobble if the design means the legs aren't 'braced' mid/low down. Hence ones with futons underneath will be more stable than ones with a big space underneath.0 -
My daughter has a metal high sleeper from Argos. Hers is just the bed with nothing under it -well apart from copious quantities of her junk! If it shows any sign of a wobble I go round and tighten up all the screws and that solves it. It is a job I only do occasionally, most of the time it is quite firm with no sign of a wobble.0

Me planning to buy it but after seeing your posts i cant wait more immediately i shall shop it0

We have a high sleeper from Argos. It cost a lot of money but when it arrived it was stamped underneath with a make of a company who specialise in these beds but sell them for double the price(cant remember the name).
My point is that i dont think the beds from argos are poor quality as they are obviously made by a company who has a very good reputation.
My sons bed does squeak a bit but i think thats because we may have overtightened things.I wouldnt say it is wobbly but it certainly does take a bit of getting used to sleeping in it.0 -

It's usually the other way around. Most items sold in Argos can be found cheaper elswhere. Don't you think that the manufacturer also sell lower quality models?0 -
ive got the hig sleeper with the desk underneath from argos and that wobbles too, it must be the design.
Ive moved the bedrooms round and want to put a wardrobe underneath instead of the desk, but i cant seem to buy them separate, can anyone advise????:A :j0 -
You would have to measure the height of the underneath bit, but my boys both have small wardrobes from Ikea that fit under their high sleepers. Maybe try there?
It's only a game

It's just normal for any furniture from Argos to wobble.0
