24 months is almost up. AOL via carphonewarehouse home braodband with free laptop.
again wanting another free laptop with a deal similar, thinking paying about £20 a month, what options are out there (as many seem to be mobile broadband, but want cheaper and higher download home broadband option)

Why not go for a mobile broadband deal instead?
You've mentioned them in your own post but perhaps don't recognise the similarities between the two.
1) with Three you can buy a router that you can plug your USB modem in to and this router takes your USB Modem's (herein referred to as a "dongle") signal and sends it out a la a normal router enabling you to use any (any more than four or five and performance suffers) wireless devices you wish
2) you can absolutely get something around the 20.00 mark although you might struggle with the bandwidth (data) allowance. How much do you currently have and what kind of speeds do you get?
3) the laptop selection available with MBB deals is pretty good
4) you have the added convenience of being able to take your connection away with you if you're out and about
I have mobile broadband and absolutely cannot live without it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
