Is this ok - Po Box address?

Hello

I listed a child's outfit for buy it now or make a offer. A buyer made a offer which i accepted.

When sending the invoice i saw the address is a PO Box address but the town is quite local to me. After a couple emails from them making no sense whatsoever as they speak very poor English they still havent paid yet but also their feedback is private but they do have 100% feedback and substantial number of feedbacks.

I always send my items recorded delivery as i had several items "not received " so now send all items signed for and not had anythign else go " missing " since.

How do PO Boxes work? Will the package still be able to be signed for?

You can send recorded to a P.O. Box, they will either go there to pick up the items in which case they will have a card waiting for them telling them they have a recorded parcel, or they may have them automatically forwarded to their home address in which case it will be delivered on as normal.

We have a po box no. at our company. The reason is that if we left it to be delivered it would be delivered at approx. 2.30 in the afternoon.
This way we can pick it up at 8am but we do have to pay about £200 per annum for the privelege, :eek: which seems silly to me as we are saving the post office time

Why would a buyer on EBay have a PO Box? Should i be worried? Sorry i do not know anything about PO Boxes.

So do i post it and hope it arrives ok etc...

I wouldn't send out the item until payment was cleared regardless of what the address type is.

Just dont send anything out until the payment has cleared then it should be okay.

you can organise a collect from a delivery office free
the post office doesnt deliver mail at all

An RM PO Box is situated at an RM Sorting Office.


they will deliver to a po box at the RM sorting room.
they will not deliver to a postal address
ie 34 high st, wherever.
