Friday - children pits, spare rooms or just neglected spaces Done!!:D:D:D
Level One

Been a busy bee already - deli shopping in S'bury's, washing up, DD to school, garden centre for brother and SIL's presents, home for shopping delivery - and coffee! Now off to Matalan to see if I can get a pair of trousers suitable for smarter wear. Then after lunch downtown for few more bits, and euros for Tuesday. Out for pizza with dept early evening, then home to wrap up everything for tomorow...
I'll need dusty's turn of speed to manage that!:hello:Hi dusty!
Not too much chance of getting the bathroom done, it'll have to wait!

Afternoon all
I did all the bedrooms on Wednesday so that covers today's list I think.
I've done a load of clothes washing and I've washed the throw from the settee. Dusted the living room and computer desk/hallway and vacuumed right through downstairs. Made a sponge and some little fruit cakes. Iced my Christmas cake - I'm really bad at icing but let's just say it's covered.........
This afternoon I'm half planning to put up the Christmas tree. At least I'll test the lights and take it from there.
Off to do some catching up until it's time to dish up dinner. Hope everyone's OK.0 -
Morning all
ooop it's afternoon!
I have been EVER so busy
I have ironed, cleaned, prepped a Bread and butter pudding for tea (with a whoopsied fruit loaf) and got some fish which I poached in milk with bay leaves from my garden for a fish pie, so that's cooling ready for flaking, and I have cooked a veggie chilli. Beds are stripped and airing and WM x 3 on now, TD has been working overtime.
Couldn't get in the house last night as DS had left his key in the lock on the inside so I couldn't get mine in from the outside. I phoned and knocked and banged and tapped his window with a prop then went to my mums (I needed the loo by then) and phoned again until he answered...Grandma told him to take the key out of the lock...
(I'd been to the pub quiz with neice, her bf and her friend).
Martin's on at one so I shall eat some chilli then...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm going to do HH card writing whilst I wait for my friends to arrive - I was going to make cake/biscuits but all the butter I have is frozen - so it'll be posh packet biscuits I'm afraid.
Rose - well done on your broaches
Piggers - anniversary hugsThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Me?
Been quite lazy - but then again, I did go to bed at one thirty in the morning last night!!!
On the other hand, yesterday was my birthday and I celebrated it in STYLE - SO and friends took me out for a lovely meal, had a amazing set of presents that included makeup, DVDs and a fabulous necklace that I've been eyeing for three months but never had the money to buy from SO. I loved him for that~!
Sat waiting to go to class now - it's incredibly boring but whatever. I'll go and do some work! On the plus side - I have money to count in my purse since I emptied my sealed pot on my bedside table today, and I hope I have enough to make it to £4.99. Fingers crossed.
Oh, and I need to reply to everyone on here - but I'm late for class! RUN!!!0 -
Have been busy sewing a flower for an order, I can’t catch up with my sequinned flowers before someone is buying them again!
Off out to the post office now it's done.
I think I’ve caught whatever DH has got, he’s been feeling rough for a few days now. He’s managed to go out to work but is struggling. I’m all achey and feel like I’ve got blocked sinuses. Got a terrible headache too.
I really must do some washing up and tidying today, it’s bad in here. I’ve hardly done anything all week.
Trying to catch up with the thread, it may take a while as I’m back on p.16 at the mo!
Jill lovely pics of the cake, it looks fab!
Hugs Diva, is there no way you can see your nephews? It’s so sad that you haven’t been able to see them

I've had a treat this morning - a coffee with a fellow Flylady :j, which made the food shopping afterwards much more pleasant.
Have unpacked, bunged on some carols, and am now busy photographing all the Playmobil. I have visitors late afternoon so need some floor for them to be able to walk in the door!
So HHP at 13.30? Probably take a couple more to get it done - then Ebay listings this evening.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
