Weekly Flylady Thread 7th December 2009

Morning Flygang,

Woke up in a panic thinking I haven't put the bin out - checked out the window and yes, no bin.:eek: So flitted down dutifully as a Flylady would and put it out - at 5.45 - in Pj's & dressing gown and it was beautifully quiet and crispy. So have stayed up and been pottering in my office.

Been looking at my diary for next week - a very bitty week of here and there. So plan today is to make sure next week is all pinned down, meet a Flylady, shop, and then make my grand Christmas to do list with items marked for DH & DS to do. Whilst all a bit last minute I feel much less stressed about it all this year - must be all this Flyladying..:D

OK coffee, then a quick HHC before eveyone gets up,

Feed the cat at least twice
Brush the cat
Sort and delete 30 emails
reply to emails
Clean bathroom sink
Spray bleach on the bottoms of the shower curtains
Email R

Fill WM and put on

Extras
Polish computer keyboard and screen and tv
Water plants and polish leaves
sort out nail varnishes
wrap girls prezzies
Find birthday card, write and post - URGENT
order silk pillowcases
find large cutting board
check Christmas list
Make cards

Hope you are well, is today your birthday? If it is then Happy Birthday:bdaycake:What a shocking way to be treated by your own mum, this really puzzles me

My aunt brought me up as my mum walked out on me and my two sisters when I was 9 and we never saw her again.

Just popping in to get the list although my new flooring is getting started in the lounge next week and joiner thinks it will be 2-3 days work :eek: so am guessing not much flying getting done next week as house will be a tip and it means I can't put my tree up either until its done :mad: Kids will not be best pleased at all, hugs to you all, I will catch up later when I get to work, have a half day today as its my works christmas night out tonight, hugs to you all take care xx:A

Friday - children pits, spare rooms or just neglected spaces
Level One
Make half an hour for yourself
Change and dirty bedding that needs it!
Level Two
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any soft furnishings that require a wash
Collect any stinky laundry from about the place
Level Three
Clear out the toy boxes.. (or a box of guff) .. Santa wants to fill them up.. but he can't if there is no space!
Clean out any bins.. and do a binbag dance!!
Clear out a grotty cupboard!.. any cupboard so long as it is grotty!
Extras

1. Final final shopping lists
2. Update remaining present lists
3. Wrap remaining presents
4. Make a timetable for christmas prepartions.. turkey in.. turkey out.. etc

Morning all - not much time to fly today as off out on work do early doors tonight.

I did manage to wash up, tidy the kitchen and iron 2 dresses last night before bed. Still a bit coldy and can't decided whether to drive or catch the train and be v.cold and likely hangover tomorrow!

Will catch up on flying this weekend!

Been up since 5.20 as I'm full of cold and can never sleep when I'm full of cold, had the most wonderful day out with DD1 yesterday and on the way back started to get a sore throat, that teamed up with AF :rolleyes: and I feel not well at all, went to shop first thing, in the dark, and felt a bit better, maybe I'll be ok for work, will have to struggle on though cause I'm desperate for the money.

Nice and cold with clear skies here this morning

Oh, and joy, I have a job which will probably take me ALL DAY to do today.... you can't believe how excited I am about that! It involves sorting out the post room for want of a better word. It's where we put stuff for people to collect.

At the moment it's in strict A-Z order. My mission is to convert it into A-Z by discipline. There are about 50 odd boxes of stuff to sort and rearrange. In good flylady style, I've asked if they can ensure I have a duster and some cleaning stuff as, whilst I'm getting everything out, I might as well clean it all thoroughly as well.

How exciting!
