Thursday - Master messroom! and landing Done!!!
:D:Dyesterday
Level one
Level Two
Level Three
Another busy day at work, but went well. I couldn't take any more being cross with my lovely but very loud Year 8's so prepared a sheet to give then when they came in, headed 'Be (fairly) nice to 8** day',with a promise of listening to youtube music vids while they were working, then chocolate as soon as they successfully did their speaking test with me. One of the girls asked me if I was going down with swine flu...:D Fairly chaotic it may have been, but they did the work, and we're friends again... Fortunately, the head chose to come in at the point where they were all sitting diligently doing the listening test, and not when it all looked chaotic.
Huge list of things to do tomorrow, mainly the rest of the shopping to take over to our family get together on Saturday. Then I have to wrap it.
sexymouse - outrageous. Huge hugs.
Love and hugs all round.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
OOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooook....So i didnt make the 2pm deadline but jase came home:o:rotfl::T:eek::D:rolleyes:
I have three cards to make and write, Frodders, LL and Jinks so i am quite happy with that...also each and everyone of you has a different style of card!!! not one is the same! I must admit i am very impressed with myself! I must apologise now tho, i a card looks a bit wonky i blame it on the fact i have just made 25 cards with my wrist in a splint and lieing on my back! Anywho, I am about to finish the last three cards(all the others are written and sorted) write them and then write the envelopes and get them parceled up for LL, they will be in the post tomorrow at lunch time chuck!!!!!!!!
I.AM.STARVING.....GRRRRRR.....feeeeeeeed me someone purlease!
Another load of xmas presents arrived today rom toys r us, eeeek:eek:
OOOoooooo and i finally ordered my dress for christmas day!
Oh and i am super pleased with myself! Despite spending a total fortune on the sprats this year, i had lewis's nursery statement this morning...it was -£12 hahahaha!!! for the first time EVER they owe us money!
Lewis nearly got KILLED this evening....he went upto his room to 'play' and the next thing we know, jaimee came in and told us he had drawn everywhere. Honestly:eek:all over the walls, the NEW beige hall carpet(little !!!!!!) his room, his walls, his quilt....EVERYWHERE.IN BLACK INK  so i sent him to his room....and he threw a hissy fit and was hammering his door, smashing his room up and screaming 'you ruined my life mummy an' jase' !!!!!! he is three!!!!! I have no idea what is wrong with him atm but i am really struggling with his behaviour, and weirdo constant 'i'm hungry' which we get about 50times a day. Glad the health visitor is coming out on monday cus it needs dealing with, and this constant hunger needs addressing too. Anyone got any advice?
Sorry for rambling

Mmmm this is what I thought until I overdid it. Thought I'd stroll into town to pay a cheque in and get the last of the cards, only I wandered about some more and then realised that I didnt think I was actually going to get home. Feltlight headed and legs felt like jelly. Unfortunately DH was not about town so I couldnt get him to pick me up and DS hadnt finished school so plodded (and I mean really plodded home) I looked like some kinda drunk trying to put one foot infront of the other. Just got in same time as DS and promptly burst into tears. Anyway a mug of tea and a sleep and I felt well enough to make tea before DS had to rush out again.
Bahhhhh I need to vent.
I've been doing really well for not feeling weepy, getting my essays done and everything. And then this morning I opened my emails to find....
An email from Dad. It was a reply to one I sent him a while ago about getting a headstone for a family grave we've just tracked down for his grandfather. So it looked like this:
From: Dad
Subj: RE: Gravestone
I literally nearly fainted, then started sobbing before I even opened it.
My mother, who is usually very sensible, has apparently been sorting through Dad's old emails and checking everything had been replied to, and wanted to know what we'd decided about the headstone. WHY COULDN'T SHE EMAIL ME FROM HER OWN BLUMMIN (not the word I want to use) ACCOUNT???????????? I'm so angry and upset by it, even though I know she didn't mean to upset me. Emails from beyond the grave are not something I can cope with.
Jinky - have a hug sweetie
Lisa welcome to the funhouse
poohbear - well done for losing 4lb, thats brilliant
oh sexymouse - thats so unreasonable. I echo all the other suggestions about the diary and union
Jill - huge hugs for you too. Its not only a stressful time of year, this whole year is stressful for a lot of people with jobs being lost or struggling for business. Hang in there hun x
serena - sounded like your plan worked brilliantly
Flying - I have cleared the kitchen again after I wrecked it making tea in a hurry. Made mince pies and jam tarts with the leftover pastry so will have a cuppa and munch one in a min. DW on and thats about it.
Need to find an update list ready for tomorrowMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hugs to anyone who needs one.
I'm trying to decide if i can be bothered to group and label the presents or not. Actually yes i will i can watch Gavin and Stacey at the same time. We were sat in the pub looking at the menu and Nev said "oo i fancy gammon ", Ds2 said " i don't like Gavin or Stacy they say i'm a celebrity get me out of here"I can see his reasoning.

Zoe.. he'll be needing extra food to keep himself warm this freezing weather.. fuel his naughtiness and his legs and fight off any germs he may be harbouring.. he may well be going to have a growth spurt too. The naughtiness is pushing his luck because he knows you can't chase him and tell him off.. how far can you be pushed mummy? he may also be feeling insecure.. tiddly one is staying elsewhere during the week.. he might think you'll 'send him away' too if he isn't careful.. I know it isn't like that but I'm not 3!! Mine did the same when DS1 went to my mothers in February.. they thought I didn't want them too
Took a while to drag that out of them. .. ink removal.. hairspray!!!!!!!!!! nastier and cheaper the better! He could also just be bored and not able to think of what else to say or do.. my lot graze constantly.. sheep.. they always want toast or sarnies or fruit though which I don't have too big issue with.. Then finally.. he is a boy, boys are little $h-hits they are willful, disobedient, rude, destructive and obnoxious.. and they smell!! They start off cute enough, and usually end up ok eventually but the in between bit.. from about 2-18.. they are evil!!

Hi.
I have been reading these pages for a couple of weeks now and have finally plucked up the courage to post. A friend recommended that I take a look after I was complaining to her about how disorganised I was. I spend hours looking for things I've lost. I'll confess I don't manage to read all the posts but I do try. It's interesting to read how others approach their housework so please can I come aboard?0 -
I think I've done all but three of my christmas cards now... so I'll have to see how many stamps I've got. If I don't have enough the rest will be posted on Saturday, along with the ones going to relatives in France (I appear to have run out of stamps for those).
Those of you with family in the forces... do I just use normal 1st class stamps for BFPO addresses?
Seeing as I have to actually drag myself into the office tomorrow, I suppose I'd better pack up and go to bed. I'm going to have fun washing my hair in the morning without getting my leg wet or making a huge mess of the bathroom...
Froddy - no idea what the pub in Sutton Scotney is like, so we can give it a try. If it doesn't look great, we can try the Northbrook Arms in East Stratton which is supposed to be good (and East Stratton is very pretty!). Is anyone else planning on joining us?0 -

Hi.
I have been reading these pages for a couple of weeks now and have finally plucked up the courage to post. A friend recommended that I take a look after I was complaining to her about how disorganised I was. I spend hours looking for things I've lost. I'll confess I don't manage to read all the posts but I do try. It's interesting to read how others approach their housework so please can I come aboard?
Be warned, don't try to keep up with the thread, as it moves very fast and can waste hours of valuable flying time. Weekends are even worse as Pigpen allows us to chat
although occasionally a few of us do try to get out and do something to prove we still have a live (but we tend to take it in turns).
Take things slowly, and do NOT attempt to follow the example of the experienced flyladies who chat all week and blitz the house in a day... they've dealt with the worst excesses and know how to deal with things.
ETA - does your friend post here too? it's just that there seems to be quite a bit of recruiting going on a the moment... we're worse than reformed smokers!0
