I have yet to catch up on the thread so hope everyone is ok today. Will post more in a mo.
As expected I did feel like carp today, cant believe I stayed up so late, what an idiot. I had had a migraine threatening all weekend (and no her name was not Brenda aka Mum LOL) and had been surviving on migraleve anyway. So of course this morning I felt soooo tired and head was thumping and felt sick, eurgh it was awful.
Anyway Mum and I managed to be on speaking terms when she left which is always a bonus. We went to a massive garden centre this morning and managed to keep losing each other (funny that .....) and into the bargain I managed to get a few nice bits and bobs - couple of Xmas card holders which Ive been after for years but never seen, new lights for twigs in front room, present for my Auntie. We had time fora quick visit to the next door craft village too. Mostly scarily expensive - so Mum liked thatbut they also had a Xmas shop selling off last years stuff half price and I got 8 sets of pencil/rubber/ruler/sharpener either football design or flower design - 45p each :money:Excellent for topping up presents for the parties they go to.
Oh and back at the garden centre Mum had very kindly bought me some plants as I wanted to do a nice festive-y looking planter at the front door.
We only had a few "moments" but I managed to not rise to it, even when she started going on about DS again. One good thing is she is so down on him its made me be very nice to him this weekend (not that Im not normally, but you know what I mean). I felt like I had to champion him and fight his corber as he's too young to do it himself.
I dropped her at the airport at lunchtime and breathed a huge sigh of relief.
I then went straight to Hobbycraft to get wool for festive gnome :T:T and then to school. Then to school to pick up and then to McDonalds for their tea before swimming lessons. Then home and early to bed for them all and lovely shower and tea - in bed!!!! - for me.
DH has some big mega crisis at work so I am not expecting him home much this week. Basically last night I asked him to move his laptop from the kitchen table so I could serve up the children's tea, he did so but it ran out of battery charge on the way (battery is holding almost no charge). He discovered this morning when he went to boot it up that the hard drive seems to be corrupt so he has had to reinstall the entire system, meanwhile he has big massive project needing done for Weds when his co-director goes to do big fancy presentation to big important potential client in the US. And of course its all my fault for asking him to move itSo I really dont want him home until its all fixed as he will be unbearable. Thank god he didnt discoved it before Mum left or the atmosphere at home would have been too hideous for words

Triker - I would rate the past weekend's TMV as Amber with elements of Red (namely the throttling element). Oh yes have had many many Red ones over the years :rolleyes:. I fantasise about it going to DEFCON 1 and having a totally screaming the place down telling her exactly what I think row :eek::eek:
And now I am TOTALLY FREAKED OUT because in the middle of typing that fantasising bit I answered the phone and it was her :eek::eek::eek::eek: Big Mother is watching you Jill!!!!!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Well, it got late. The cat slept on me, and I was tired a demotivated after work and doctors. I was "too patient" and ended up waiting an hour and a half before checking with the receptionist that I was correctly "checked in" I was... but they somehow still forgot me. Oh well.
I'm going to try and do what I can with one arm, the other one *ACHES*, silly swine flu vaccine.
