    evening all

Have skimmed some, but not all, of the thread....hugs especially to toots.

I'm just watching casualty from a couple of weeks ago and DH is doing some sorting in the study.... :) Not sure who stole my husband but this new version is excellent!

I will do the kitchen later, shouldn't take long as I only did it yesterday :D I also need to make DH's rolls for tomorrow and finish the Mr T order for Thursday. Also want to update my Christmas present list, thought I had loads but laying it all out in the spare room it doesn't look like much!!

  • Sorry on catch up today, so this is what I remember:

Jinky – well done on the negotiations!!! Stick to it x
Diva – glad Tristan’s at home
JillD/Toots – mothers are supposed to be like that aren’t they?! That’s what I tell my kids!!! Luckily I get on well with my my, DH’s mum has told DH tonight that we should kick DD2 on to the streets and they will put her in a hostel and that we shouldn’t have SDD down!!! !!!!!!?? Glad I wasn’t at home when he rung her or would of grabbed the phone off him. Really wound us both up the silly mare, so I know a little of what it’s like
Pigpen – healing coping vibes sent your way
LL – hope you are ok, still haven’t written the cards, a kick up the ar£e is needed!!
Soappie - I know what you mean by the solar panel bit, I think they forgot to put the sun up today, dark and raining all day
Rose – an author in the family!! WTG. Glad you had a good weekend
Anw’Mum – what a good night you had by then sounds of it, can’t stop singing ‘rocking all over the world’ in my head now!!!
Sexym – wow them my darling like you have wowed us and your class!!
Toots – hope MrToots is ok with the SW, shame you can’t see him on his birthday. You ARE entitled to be pis£ed off every now and then, you are an inspiration to me and have helped me loads, so I/we are all here for you to rant and rave whenever you want to; so there!!!
Greenbee/Valli – only good bloke I know with all those qualities is my DH and your not having him!! LOL!
Mudders - well done on getting Toots to open up more

The rest I’ve read and forgotten, sorry peeps, love, hugs, coping vibes and hang on in there vibes sent to the rest of you lovely lot. Haven’t had the internet at work from Thursday afternoon until mid morning today, absolute shambles as we are internet based, can’t even order a for sale board without it. Went to works xmas do at DD1’s hotel, tom jones tribute night thing with meal, was good, but her didn’t look like him, unless he has lost 4 stone!!! The general manager has had her in today to praise her for the xmas do’s as she has organised all of them and they have been a roaring success so far and she is only 19!! Sooooooo proud!

Going to hospital tomorrow for scan with DD2, so ‘let there only be one baby inside vibes’ would be much appreciated!!! Mt granddad if you can remember was a twin but the twin died at birth so we always forget that.

Ouch - losing a crevice tool - sounds painful :p :rotfl:

It's better than losing a tool in a crevice  ;)
Soappie - I know what you mean by the solar panel bit, I think they forgot to put the sun up today, dark and raining all day

Well, the sun did suddenly pop out about 3pm so I wrapped up and took the dog out. After about 3/4 hour of plodding, we were about a mile and a half from home when the skies turned dark again so the dog and I caught the bus back! But I think we both enjoyed the walk. One baby vibes for your DD

Sexym - wishing you the best for Friday, I have everything crossed

Well, since I've got in from the walk with the dog I've done nowt housework wise but I have done some writing. I guess I'd better check on the gammon I bunged in the oven a while ago and sort out some veg to go with it.

And thank everyone so much for your kind words of support and help - it's nice to know when people are there.

Triker - I agree - I think we need some space between us - three generations in the same town is too much never mind just in the same room. As for the complusive hoarding - it sounds about right but for the love of God, I can't deal with it!!! I'm going leaving it and deal with it later.

Miss Pigpen - they depend on me to do everything for them if it's more complicated than a phone call. I dont think it's to with making me miserable, I think it's more to do with general incompetence and failure to comprehend what is normal anymore. You know, I would love to leave them with it but I can't in a way. She's my mum and she's my gran (2 different people BTW) and they did do a wonderful job before they turned into needy dependent little annoyances. ...10 of you in a three bed house? Bet there was no peace what so ever! Thank you for being supportive, and sharing your story - it's important to know there is others out there. Read below for the news on the bank account and on the parent problems.

Kazmeister - thank you for commenting and I'll take that hug please! Hope you feel better soon and *hugs*

Soappie - Oh god, you have no idea. *hugs*

Tootifrooti - I amma going to stick to them but thank you for your support. It is my life - I just need her to stay away from my student house! I do not want to be thrown out - I like my friends!

    And for everyone else -

As for the bank accounts, my mother and my debit card - I made the mistake once. Just once. It was enough though - I wasn't kidding about the sofa - she brought a designer sofa that cost just shy of seven hundred pounds. I don't have that kind of money! I don't often have enough to cover food, rent and utilities never mind a whole freaking sofa!!!!!!:mad::mad::confused::mad::mad::mad:

Still, got it back because when I got the phone call from the bank saying, "did you spend seven hundred pounds on a sofa?" I freaked out, and was told that if the sofa was returnd within twenty eight days, I could get a complete refund. Got SO, sprinted down to London with the car and told her basically, that sofa was going back first thing the next day. It did go back - after my SO basically held the sofa hostage by sleeping on it in the plastic wrapping. The men came and picked it up by nine o'clock the next morning, and my card was refunded.

And I took from my mum's purse the ten charge they made me pay in order to have it collected the next day (it had come from somewhere in cornwall.) and enough money to cover the cost of dinner and petrol to get down there. She was livid but so was I - I don't think that forty pounds was too much to give when she made me come running down over three hours and made me miss work for two days.

And as for my grandmother -

Next time I go down there, I'm going down with a Stanley knife, a pair of sissors, bottle of dye and SO is renting a van from the removal company. I'll cut up, deface, stain and then remove it with the van. But I'm leaving that till after Christmas.

how you stopped yourself from strangling her I have no idea!! Mind you.. muggins here is owed just shy of £2000 by my mother... I am simply writing it off though I think.. she's not even given me £1 off it this YEAR so I've paid most of it off now.

I think defacing and ruining is the way to go if you can haul it to the tip.

Don't you be missing out on your study though.. it is important and they have to come second.. they managed to survive long before deciding to be dependant on you so they aren't that stupid just taking advantage of you!
