  • Finally for the day, when doing yet another load of washing (I insist on clean clothes every day, as a reaction to the TM's ideas of leaving me in the same clothes for days on end as a kid) I was really annoyed to find DD1's been stinking out her little sister's new top with BO.

I don't understand why the smell is so bad - it's not like anyone else's smell, it's really sour and acrid, even if she has showered. I actually have a less strong reaction to the cat tray, it's that bad. And it doesn't come out with bio soap, febreze or stardrops, it will contaminate the rest of the wash if I don't get it out the machine the instant it stops spinning.

How on earth do I get the stench out?

Think I've heard that particularly bad smells (especially if she's very young) can possibly be the sign of other illnesses...not to worry you...this is dug out from the back of my mind. Might be worth a quick trip to the GP. Could even be that the sweat glands are getting blocked and infected or something.

OMG....can't believe you still not got the results. Now you have to wait the whole weekend with it hanging over you. Feel free to have as many emotional outbursts as you like. Your entitled to it! Hugs hugs for you and continued positive 'good results' vibes. xx

Flying wise...none. But I have got more Christmas shopping done today. More to do after I finish work. Fortunately M&S is open until midnight so I can shop when I finish at 11pm and get the last few bits. Actually I have done flying...I emptied and refilled the DW. Not much but its something!

Must check on tea...HM cajun potato wedges with shop bought pizza. No time this week to make a HM one.

That is so unfair... but I can only hope that the fact that you don't have the results means that there is nothing unexpected to make them reach the top of the pile.

Yup... everyone over the other side of the Ouse... more info

Jojo - it could be what she's eating, or just a hormonal stage. Try reducing the amount of spices, onions, garlic in her diet. Meat and dairy can also influence body odour. As can stress (I know I smell really horrible when I'm stressed!)

I used to live in Lincolnshire too. Cheaper houses (then) but no jobs!

I ended up doing an hour and have dragged the ground floor up to an acceptable level and S&S'd the upstairs bathroom. Huge pot of ribs on the hob ready for the arrival of DH and SSs. I couldn't have got all four racks in one pot if it wasn't for Triker and her cast iron p**n.

Is it wine o clock yet?

Tiddles is worried... There is a Santa Spy in her room with magic bells that send the noise they make straight to Santa's control desk at the North Pole.. and I've eaten a chocolate orange..

Tiddles chose chip shop fish and chips for dinner.. fine by me.. but we are all going to slob in the middle room with our greasy food and force OH to watch the Grinch as he has never seen it!
