thanks for all your advice, but I didnt get any helpline support, so still looking for a more permenant solution

My daughter has a pc in her bedroom and is able to copy pictures (currently on to a memory stick for me) - very frustrating

"Print Screen"
Paste into paint (or your favourite image editor)
Edit
Save

You can fiddle around in options with any browser. The advantage of addons (I use yesscript) is that it is a single click to disable (or enable) javascript on a specific site.

This looks to me as though the current directory for 'save as' is set to one which you can't access. Not sure of the fix - perhaps look in the properties of the browser icon and set the working directory to something you know you have access to?
