Seriously looks like 0.5% card, although a bit of digging you can still find the form for Barclaycard 1% but doubt they'd accept! :rotfl:
With the play card you get 1% back in Play.com vouchers - so if you were going to buy the same items from Amazon unless they're double the price then Play will be your best option - also comes with 9m 0% on purchases which if saved adds another ~1.5% to the pot (if spent quickly at the beginning!)0 -

John Lewis, Amazon, Play... the catch is that you only get their vouchers back. I don't mind it as I do a lot of shopping at those places and the JL vouchers can be spent at waitrose too and you always need foodKavanne

I just applied and got accepted for an Amazon credit card
It gives you £15 credited to your account after your first purchase (anywhere, any amount)
Then you get 1 point worth 1p IIRC for every £10 you spend at amazon or £20 elsewhere
Better than nothing!0 -
At the moment the deals don't seem to be out there for the Credit Card Cashback. I'd suggest looking at sites such as Quidco if you're looking at getting cashback on purchases.
As they always say, there's no such thing as a free lunch, & that seems to certainly be true about Credit Card Cashback at present!New Years resolutions...don't get my signature removed and set up an A-Team style MSE crack survival team. P.S Apparently mrb1 and David 32 hate me. This makes me sad0 -

There's quite a few store related cards that do this now.

Play is easily the best return at present though - Assuming spending £1000 other than at the related store:
Play: £10
John Lewis: £5
Amazon: £10
