well, i run a small company, no matter how busy i am, i can fit clients, specially new clients in a short notice.. job properly done.

I will never even on my own and a broken back take 4 days to finish a loungue though.. the most 1 day and a half .

Some times clients would think, i am dessperate for work but thats a thing i cant do much about, thats how i operate and it wont change

Did your plasterer supply all materials including plasterboard and coving?
Yes he did. Originally the quote was £400.00 but when he started to work on ceiling it was a lot worse than we first thought, so that's why the price went up by £150.00. It's an old Victorian house and we had the original ceiling which had developed a lovely crack and bulge. We had our study (3rd bedroom) replastered a couple of years ago by a different guy and whilst he was also very good he charged us the same price and for a much smaller room. Good luck and hope it goes well for you. Be prepared for the mess but it's well worth it in the end.

So it would have been £400 or a large room without the extra work? Ours isn't too bad because although Edwardian it has been replastered at some point, it just isn't good enough to paint now. We have builders in already and I mentioned I'd like a quote of the plasterer they use and they said it would probably be about £700 in total which is a massive difference so I'll wait and see.

Thanks for the input though everyone.

To me that is not TOO bad! I just had half my house done including materials, and he had to render first and then finish skim everywhere including round windows etc etc... for 1370. And its a very very good job
