I was slow on the uptake and forgot!! That grinning Boots couple are still there lol!! Mind you, OH mysteriously said he had to get a taxi from town this morning rather than take the bus with me, and I wasn't allowed to ask why.....here's hoping he got the hints and took a detour into Boots!!

Well my online order which I thought hadn't gone through I now discover did...after I rushed to the shop to buy one! They were going like hot cakes, one lady had at least 10 in her hands, if not more!! I think that maybe they should have been 3 per customer or something so everyone had the opportunity to get one.

When i was standing out Boots this morning the other people were all males - obviously their wives/girlfriends etc had sent them out in the cold weather to purchase the hatboxes! hehe!

I got to Loughborough Boots just after 9am and bought 2, also got a free sample of P&P day cream and night cream.. By the time i got on the bus at 10.30 nearly all the shop floor stock had gone, I don't know if they have anymore out the back.
SA said they were flying off the shelves and staff are only allowed to buy 1

Halifax store started off with 400 people seem to be buying 2 at a time. there are loads left there.

nearly killed myself (hit a spot of black ice en route!) in my quest to get one of these. when i saw it i had to get another one for myself to recover from the trauma.

halifax havent limited sales to 1 per customer yet although i heard the sales staff say they are planning to soon because in 2 hours they sold out of the f c u k set last week. So if you live near here get yourself down! but watch out for the black ice!

Thanks for person who started this. Really enjoyed "entertainment" last night. lol My sis went in to buy one for me this morning at 8.30am. The shop (very small local Boots) was full of women all buying hatboxes. My sis so impressed she bought one for herslf also. :j

My gorgeous hubby is very popular this morning as he was at Boots West Quay when they opened and got me my two hatboxes- one for me for Christmas and one for a gift.

Hubby said there were loads of people waiting for it to open, and that the lady in front of him at the till had 8!
