My friend just called from the Glasgow St Enoch centre branch. SA told her they got 200 in and there are less than 30 left! Jeezo!

Thank you ladies and gentleman for this great thread was on page 65 when I went to bed last night, so have not got time to catch up. Had intended to go to bigger Boots this morning but did not bother because of snow. Walked into my local one not expecting to see any, as I was crossing road saw a big display at front. I was the only 1 in there. Where were you all I picked up 1 for dd for christmas. Wish I took another 1 to put away for birthday present, but did want to be greedy as I know some people might not be able to get to Boots until lunchtime. But having just read that 1 poster saw a woman in her store trying to buy 8:mad: wish I had.

That annoying couple have been put back on the holding page! I had enough of staring at their faces last night.

My mum has just told me she wants one for my sister so I am waiting again!

I got up this morning and got to Keighley Boots at 8.30. I was first in, they had 9 on display, i bought 3, (1 for mum, 1 for stepmum and 1 for bf's mum) another couple bought 4 then 2 girls got 1 each. I spoke to the sales assistant and she said they had loads more upstairs not sure how many loads means though.

I got mine at The Trafford Centre but I don't think the Manager liked us very much....:o

After trying two smaller Boots near me, who both said they don't get given OOTW, I was stood outside Traff Centre with others at 9.30 and the shutters were half up. We could see a massive pile of them in front of us, but we could also see LOADS of staff members taking them to stash, then... some customers that they seemed to know were going under the shutter and grabbing them and getting served and the pile had seriously shrunk.

We were all MSE'rs and so in a typical MSE way, we decided that we couldnt not get one after coming this close, and that Boots couldn't stop us all so we all went under the shutter and grabbed ours. The Manager was NOT impressed at all, but we all said we were just making sure we got ours as he was clearly serving others, and that we were quite happy to wait till 10am (when they officially open) to pay.

Anyway... we didnt need to cos he gave in and opened a till and by 10am I was back in my car and on my way home with two Hatboxes

Tried online at about 7.15 but never got past payment page, so after 30 mins decided that it would be quicker to go out and buy one in-store after the kids had gone to school. Decided to try my small local store (Summertown, Oxford) first before driving to the retail park as they have had all the other OOTW even though don't normally stock them. Walked in just after 9 o'clock there was a shelf of them on the end of an aisle, nobody paying any notice to them at all and I must have been the first to buy one because the lady at the till only saw the price when she scanned mine and said what a good deal it was! There were only 4 on the shelf but I'm sure they must have more as they have got them in specially for OOTW.:T
