Best Sky HD/Virgin HD deal?

Ive seen some vouchers on avforums and know that you can use cashback sites when ordering Sky HD, not sure which ones though?

I dont have a BT line so was thinking about going with Virgin HD and broadband as I think you need one to get Sky HD and their broadband, though Ive heard that they will sometimes pay this for you in the form of a credit?

Anyone know which is better Sky or Virgin? I prefer the look of the Sky box and would ideally go with them but the fact that I dont have a BT line may be a problem?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Danny

Quidco is certainly one - currently offering £100.

I have heard this too but no guarantee.

If it's HD you specifically want then Sky is much better. Virgin have very few HD channels.

Currently BT are offering free installation ( a saving of £122.50 ) if you agree to an 18 month contract and make 10 calls ( can be your inclusive calls) each month.

    Basically my options are..

    £11.25 BT line rental
    £27 Cheapest Sky HD package
£17 Sky BB (just spoke to online rep, said normal free BB and phone not avail in my area)
or BB from another provider, say o2 for approx £10

so around £48.25 for HD and BB

    or

Virgin BB and HD for £36..

    any other options?

    Which doesn't include phone.

If you include phone ( regardless of Virgin or BT ) it's £47.25

So 7 HD channels with Virgin and 35 (possible, dependant on package) HD channels with Sky - your choice.
