I am trying a tact with NTL. I am ordering boradband, tv family pack, and 24/7 telephone which works out about £70 a month (btw yes i know the three for thirty deal). I will cancel towards the end of the 30 day money back guarantee in an attempt to see if they will try and give me a very good retention deal. If not I will still leave as it will not affect me.

It's actually three for £15 so surely as a new customer that's what you would pay!

Hope you don't fall foul of the T&Cs , dont you need a genuine reason to cancel your boratband? That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Also from another thread:
"NTL are no longer offering to pricematch Talk Talk as there is an Ofcom investigation going on due to the terms and conditions of the line rental minimum periods between TT and BT. Until that's been resolved NTL aren't willing to try and match Talk Talk."
Do keep us informed.

I see that you are interested in the TalkTalk offer on another thread. I think that you initial question here should be ok, but I think TalkTalk block some of these types of numbers. I think it's maybe so that they can make more money off you. :rolleyes:Lady_K wrote:Do you think its possible to go on low user tarrif with some companies and use 1899 or something would that work?0 -
The talk 3 international plan is free to all uk numbers anyway though isnt it but does this mean they block some 1899 number like abroad? I see they charge 2p to usa and america but with 1899 its cheaper than thatThanx
