02 PAYG family of 4

Hi
Can anyone advise me of a decent 02 family deal for browsing/txts/calls.....not looking for unlimited everything (although that would be nice ) but just a decent deal. Ideally a capped deal so kids cant run up a giant bill when limits are exceeded.

Many thanks.

  • WE have the O2 family bolt on.
£7.50 for unlimited calls txts and MMS between the family group (up to 5 people so you could pop granny or eldests boyf/girlf on it too if appropriate).

Obviously you need a bit of credit on the SIMs for calls outside the group, you can "pick'n'mix" with the SIM tarriffs (kids went on to the top up £10 get unlimited txs for a month, top up £15 get txts and internet for a month- actually they need about £10 every 2-3 onths only). I have a contract with O2 and DH is on a £10/month SIM only tarriff but you could all be on P+G.

It's a great deal, especially as the kids call us pretty much daily- just the "I'll be home in 30 mins " or " I've arrived at my music lesson" type things and that would cost a minute of time for any other tarriff.
  • I do the top up £15 and get free calls and texts to other O2 mobiles.
  • Vodafone are much better value

I'll second that and Vodafone are cheaper as well.

Me and basically all my family and friends do this... there's also the browsing option now, so you can get texts and browsing rather than calls which still works out nicely if you can share it between you - if one with browsing needs to speak to one of the others they can text and ask to be called back by someone with free calls.
