I'd like an afternoon of vegging on the sofa in my jimjams with pringles and copious amounts of tea but DH and DD2 want to go out....DD1 hasn't even surfaced yet!

Hope you all have a lovely time in Eddy.....well those of you who are going anyway.

just re-heated 2 slices of pizza myself for an early lunch :D I did it for 2.5 mins in an 800 watt oven and they were steaming hot.

Waiting for hire car to come - had a call to say about 30 minutes, it has just come back and they are washing it.

OH is generally being a pain in many ways, he well and truly has gone into Kevin the teenager mode today. Think of the way a scene would go for the question 'could you go to the chemist for me to get the prescription please?' (the end scenario is that I still have the prescription and he has gone home  or alternatively 'well if you were bed ridden I would help you with the tea' ....or.....'whilst you are trying to look at what you might get offered - I want a new car. Look up new cars for me. No, look up spare parts for my porsche for me, no, look up audis for me'. My reply 'calm down, there will be jelly and icecream later for you, no need to get so excited'.

He is then alternating between Kevin (when I ask him to do something) to the other Harry Enfield classic character Mr 'You Don't Want to Do That' when he is 'telling' me what I should be doing about my car

Oh, and the arrangements I'd made with my ex for him to take Charlie twice today have also fallen through as he called to say not only is he ill, he hasn't gone to the course on autism today I booked and paid for him to go for (which he still hasn't given me the money for ) so I'll have to go out later and take Charlie when I really, honestly just fancy a day indoors.

If there is anyone out there who can just give me a smidgeon of pro-active thought to just do the tiniest of things for me without me having to

    a) ask
    b) ask again
    c) get shirty because the reply is either 'no' or 'why should I'
    d) tell them that just thinking of someone other than themselves once in a while would be nice so I'm not running around after everybody 100% of the time

    please apply here.

  • Ok BB, I have to say it. you were in a car accident YESTERDAY. Your OH is a !!!!!! of the highest order. He should be completely concerned for your welfare and comfort, He is horrible.

and your ex oh needs a bloody good kick up the bum. that is beside the point.

I love you BB you are a good friend and I honestly don't say this lightly but you need to get shot of him.

You don't get a do over in life.

    xxxx

( I know its none of my business and I am rubbish at relationships,it is not my intention at all to upset you really sorry if it has)

Aww BB - so sorry - you deserve SO much better. Take it your parents are no longer around ? As for Charlie - ok ex is ill but you are not 100% after yesterday are you ? If you do take him it won't hurt for him to go out just once today. Hugs XX

car is here. I feel scared and excited at the same time at driving something different - I'm almost too scared to even start it up :o

gulp - going to drive it round the block. I doubt I'll even meet another car but it will be a big thing for me because of my fear of driving and it being so different. I am such a bloody wuss
