Best o2 pay monthly deal

Firstly heres some background info.

1) I've just changed my home phone to BT today.
2) After I check everything is ok with the line and what broadband speeds i can get, I'm going to get o2 broadband.

As many of you will know. If you have an O2 mobile phone you can get a discount on their broadband packages.

I was going to get a cheap pay as you go phone but it turns out my brother wants a new mobile phone for christmas and it would better if he had a contract phone.

So i'm looking for a competitive pay montlhy contract from 02 that has the phone included in the price. Any suggestions?

I just got the £100 cash back through quidco for the O2 simplicity 20 - £20 a month pay monthly, 12 month contract (sim only). That comes to roughly £11 a month for 800 mins, 1600 txts and free internet. Although I have a suspicion that the deal may have ended. Check quidco anyway, maybe there is something even better now.

Edit - oops, i just realised you said phone included... my bad.

Yeah I would rather have the phone included as it would mean the payments can be spread out rather than paying for a phone in one go which would be difficult to do since christmas is approaching.

That is a good deal though. I may have to consider it since there doesnt seem to be any deals even remotely like it with a pone included.

Depends on how many mins you want - the cheapest offer or a half decent phone is samsung tocco lite for 18 months on dialaphone - you can get £50 quidco, £130 over 18 months with 100 mins, unlimited texts a month.

Dialaphones Contracts arent very clear on the website. How will this deal work? Do I have to reclaim money from them or something? I know I have to do that with cashback. How much will be debited from my account per month?

You pay something like £20 a month say, then you claim back half probably - just click on the tariff links, it normally explains how it works. They are good with their t&c for cashbacks - I have used them in 2005 initially, then 2007 and current contract from 2009 (and recommended family member to them twice I think)
  • Ok i think i get it. Can you post a link to the deal you are talking about btw. I cant seem to find it. Are you sure its on o2?

Me bad sorry - I think its on orange on 24 months, not 18.
There are 18 month o2 deals on there but its 75 mins, 125 texts, average cost 9.99 a month minus quidco.
Just visit the site and you look for o2 deals, order by price per month.

Thats not too bad but I would probably want 18 months than 24 if I was in your situation. O2 do not do 12 months and thats all I accept, 12 month contracts so have to use other networks.
