I was wondering how good are buymobilephones.net in sending cash back on redemption plans? Anybody got experience with them?

Hi, I have used them numerous times and never had a problem. If you cant be methodical and organised and return the correct paperwork at the right time then you would be better off going for the automatic caskback. These schemes can only work if a certain percentage of customers forget to claim or fail to follow the terms and conditions.If everybody suceeded the amounts of cashback offered would be similar to the automatic cashback and there would therefore no point in offering them by redemption.

They prompt for billing options.
1. Monthly paper bill £1
2. Itemised bill £1.5

So does it mean by default they don't send bill. Hence in order to get cash back, you need to subscribe to monthly paper bill. I was keen to know your thoughts. Which bill did you subscribe to?

Hi, I have usually received paper bills however they have in the past been lenient and allowed 'good' photocopies and 'good' print outs off online network accounts and now that T-mobile are no longer sending out paper bills it will probably become 'normal' to send in these print outs.

T-mob do send paper bills free - only first copy (if you ask for more then you have to pay small fee). T-mob were sending out messages asking people to turn to online billing a few months back. If you have online account, you can change your preference, to opt in or out of paper billing - either way you still have access to online bill to print yourself.

Vodafone are different I think - they either send you paper bill or do online (if you set up online account, they assume you have opted out of paper billing).

Other networks might have started charging for paper bills but sure its not o2, so that leaves Orange or maybe cpw.

No, I have always selected the best cashback/tariff option and received 'free' itemised paper bills but I think it may depend on the network you choose.

OneADay you are absolutely correct. Vodafone now charge £1.50 per month if you choose to have paper bills, online billing is free and if you sign up to it you will be automatically taken off paper billing.

You can still print your bills if you have an online account by saving your bill as a PDF file to your computer.

What is the light user internet add on that vodafone offers as add on. Not the £5 pm one. I am looking for 1GB one- just to check emails, browse etc.Something like Oranges 500mb or T-mobiles 1GB?

We don't currently have a 1GB pack for Mobile Internet access.

We do offer a 3GB or 5GB pack. See more details on this here.

If that is more than you will need you can get the £5 pack which has a Fair Usage Policy of 500MB to use. You can see how to get this here.
