It is slower. I very rarely have any trouble. NTL BB.

The news letters gone out. It normally causes the site to run slower. Sometimes to crash.:eek:

Definately reeeaaallly slow tonight. Thought it might be busy an speed up when quieter but not done that. I'm NTL BB too.

Thanks for the info guys, we will look into it today to see whats happened - we were starting to feel like we've had some stability and no db errors over the last 3 or so weeks, something must have hit us last night.

Out of curiousity, did anyone see any error messages and does anyone know roughly how many people were on the board at the time of the reported slowdown?

No error messages and quite an average night by looking at the front end with users online, but didnt get the figure, just slowed down to a crawl for some reason and it was even more so that lets say the mail shots were going out, just a bit odd.

Hi MSE Neil

When MSE slowdown last night I looked at the how many people were on the board. Looked at the current most ever figure (4544 on 15/3/06) and I vaguely remember thinking there was about 1000 less than this on - making it 3500 approx.
