Broadband Security?

As part of my urgent recontracting with BT Broadband I have lost/foregone the McAfree security package included in my previous package.

Can anyone please advise what the best alternatives security package is?

Is Kaspersky a reasonable package in terms of reliability/ease of use/price please?

Thank you

    I use Comodo for Firewall.
    Avira AV for anti virus
Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, Spybot for anti malware
    Smartdefrag
    Glary Utilities

They are all free and can be easily downloaded from Filehippo and elsewhere

These utilities are as good as anyone will need and don't clog up your computer anywhere near as much as MacCaffee and Norton.

McAfee is free with HSBC, not that I am advising anyone to use McAfee.

Just for some alternatives 'ere. I use:

    AVG for anti-virus
    Superantispyware for spyware :P
CCleaner to clean out my temp files I do not need.

Never had any issues and never paid a penny for 'em.
