Is anyone elase who has an iPhone on Orange experiencing a poor service when receiving MMS messgaes?
I can send an MMS from my old phone (N96) to my new one and it works straight away. But if I send iPhone to N96 it takes ages sometimes well over an hour.
Both phones are on Orange and both next to each other!
This is really starting to annoy me now!

I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

It's not the phone, it's Orange. We have 3 phones in the house on Orange due to poor coverage of the other networks. Texts can often take hours to get to you, even with a signal.

But both phones are on the same network, I sent a MMS from each to the other about two hours ago. The MMS from the N96 was received instantly(ish) the iPhone to N96 still hasn't come through.
I had a friend send two tests one to each phone, the N96 came through straight away and the iPhone still hasn't received it.. :-(
It seems to be the iPhone that struggles..I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
I was in an Apple store the other day as a friend was getting a replacement as there was a fault with his.
While i was waiting there was around a dozen people queing up for tech support. All with the same problem. All with orange. From what i could gather, i think they were having some teething problems with it due to the amount of people with exactly the same problems however Apple would not confirm the issues for definate.
Dont know if this is much help, but thought i would contribute this to show it is not just you

I don't suppose you know if there is a fix if I take it to tech support do you?
Was your friends fault anything like the problems I'm experiencing?I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
His problem was unrelated to yours, it was the other persons i overheard whilst seeing one of the techies. Another mate who works for Orange said to me that they are weening out any problems, so i think the best thing to do is wait. If really stuck, call orange or Apple maybe?Work in progress.0
