What time did you try and phone the company? Obviously, you can't expect them to pick up the phone out of hours.
Have you tried emailing thm?The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

thanx for reply, yeah my daughter has emailed them twice and ive just emailed them 2nite,
ive tried ringing at different times of day but just keeps sayin they are not available and to leave a message
any ideas? im more worried about her bank account to be honest than any thing else0 -
If she placed the order over the phone (which she didn't by the sounds of it) then her card details could have been noted by their rep and re-used. If she placed the order online, the card details would have been encrypted and so it's safe.
Here's the info whois have - although most of it is private.
I would try sending them a letter advising that you want an immediate refund, and/or to be contacted immediately to discuss. Speak to Consumer direct if you're unsure of the format to use.0 -
Pictures of your daughter in similar might help us advise0

thanx for that info vicshippers,, yeah she placed order online, ive since been in touch with consumer direct who have advised me to write stating she wants a refund under the distance selling regulations, ive also spoke to bank who are goin to raise a dispute after 30 days,, the goods were supposed to be next day delivery,.also card has been cancelled just in case
ive since found a diff webiste under the same postal address,, sounds dodgy, anyways
expensive lesson for my daughter but you live and learn!!
thanks again for every1s help.. all except anihilator,, there are names for people like you!!

Was it a Visa debit card ?
If so, and the bank doesn't pay up, you probably have a claim back under their scheme0 -

That doesn't sound like good advice, surely if the shop itself was dodgy then they could easily steal/abuse the card details.0 -
trusted friend... yeah it is a visa card.. hopefully sum 1 is gonna pay up,, either the bank, paypal who it went through or visa,, fingers crossed!

As long as you're entering your details into a secure page (padlock and https domain) then no - even the dodgiest company can't steal your full card details...only if you call and give them over the phone.0 -

Please, tell us where you heard this blatant misinformation.
The https/padlock only means that no one can intercept the communication between you and the seller (well actually they can, but it's VERY difficult and besides my point). The data sent over the HTTPS connection is encrypted by your browser and then decrypted by the seller. You still GIVE the seller your name, card number, expiry date, CV2 number, and the card's address, everything they need to use the card for legitimate or illegitimate cardholder not present transactions.
I mean how else could it work? If the seller can't access your card details then how do they pass them onto the bank?
(Sorry for hijacking your thread a bit ladydriva)0
