File system error (-1073741819)

Hi am having problems with my computer when i try to execute certain programs like system restore or avg which would not do a scan, a message would come up listing the location of the file and a "file system (-1073741819)" message i have looked around trying to find the solution and have had no look though some sites have mentioned a worm but am not 100% sure that it is can some help with my problem?

I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and i got a similar error in where it would not open or install do you have any other suggestionsI luv freebies0

rename the Malwarebytes install file name to something else by Right clicking on the file name then rename it to cleanmypc.exe and tryEx forum ambassador

try this , you will need a CD and to make sure that the PC is booting from Cd/
DVD drive first (as the PC boots up there is normally an option for Setup , Boot Options or enter BIOS)
