HomeServe - Leather Match - Result From FOS

If you took an extented warranty out on your leather/Leather Match sofa and the Leather Match as split, don't accept Homeserve's rejection of you claim.

I took my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, and last week they rules in my favour.....The insurance company is now going to replace my sofa free of charge (upto it's original value).

So don't give up, if they reject your claim, write to Homeserve again insisting it's covered, when they send you their final response, then and only then take your complaint to the FOS.

NOTE
On my sofa the leather match had split along the seam, the FOS agreed with me that this was covered under the section 'Separation of seams and stiching', if your leather match as NOT split along the seams, you may not get the same result, but I still think it's worth taking you claim to the FOS.

Good look if you've had similar problem to me.
