Vodafone outragious bill

Hello,

Sorry this is my first post.

I just recieved a bill from Vodafone for £169, my normal bill is usually around £40. I phoned them to discuss and they said that I had made a lot of calls above my allocated 250 minutes resulting in 40p p/minute for the minutes above this.

I have always been on 750 minutes half price due to the company I work for but it looks like when I upgraded my phone Dec last year they charged me the same every month but decreased my minutes to 250.

This means that my next bill will be £320 not the best just in time for xmas. Would any of you be able to give me some advice on this as I feel it is unfair of them to change my price plan without making me aware and charge 40p a minute for a call which would have been free if my price plan had not been changed.

Really appreciate any help I can get.

Regards

    Hi,

Last December (11-12 months ago) you renewed your contract and you previously had 750 mins - but you only got 250? Have you had 250 all the time since then?

When you upgraded your phone did you get any documentation that stated your minutes were reduced.

    Hi quaifey,

From what you’ve posted it doesn’t seem right that your bill should increase by such a large amount if your usage of remained consistent since your price plan was changed around twelve months ago.

When you contacted Customer Services, did they offer an explanation as to why your price plan was changed when you upgraded last December?

As I’m keen to take a closer look at this to see what’s happened could you send the Web Relations Team an email with your details via the Contact Us form on our website?

When sending your email could you state the code WRT135 in the subject line and include your username and a link to this thread and we'll get back you as soon as we can?
