i just had a email off gamesation saying there is no record of the xbox's being returned in the warehouse, but ask me to email them the post office slips, so fingers cross they will take the loss (if any)0

well given GS have proof of delivery to you and your money i would have confirmed this before sending
so i was in the same shoes then really no item no refund and the bank still helped :j0 -
I had the same problem once and was worried about it. I went back to the PO I toook the parcel to and asked them for the tracking slip, the guy looked through a bundle under his desk and fished the correct one out once I had given him all the details!
As it hapens I didnt it the article was returned safely and I was refunded in full. Good Luck and dont worry. You live..You learn.:)0 -
Thanks for all your replys still in the same boat!, gamestation said to ring them monday and they will put a clam in with royal mail & they will refund me with my postage slips.
We will see!!! if they stick to there word
if they go back on there word, i can think of two ways forword
1- Beg halifax to do a charge back on the fact ive not had my refund.
2- Take gamestation to a small claims court and argue the fact they lost my parcels because they paid the postge cost for the return.
I dont think the xboxs r lost i think they r stuck with royal mail somewhere
i am thinking after doing some research that it's the "freepost" causing the probs the xboxs all boxed up must weigh 10kg easy, that must be over the limit for royal mail free post and i expect royal mail just dumped them in a hub somewhere, but with no tracking i have no way of trying to get them back.
thats even if royal mail haves them whats to say they r not in gamestations warehouse lost/ mmmmm
il update when i get more info
thanks

not quite, all a freepost is is a method of the recipient being billed via their local delivery office
so the freepost items travel just like normal items and are billed as per the conditions of the customers (the freepost account holder) account
they are probably with GS now but you have no wa to prove it0 -
Rang gamestation this morning, they have processed a refund no questions asked on the grounds of my proof of postage, they still say they
have not got them, but i no longer care where they r!
i am glad it's turnt out good like this as i like gamestation with there xmas bargains, so all good + they still got a customer

First time I have used this gamestation had used others in the past I bought a game today it was in the sale section with the orginal price ticket on and a sale price ticket not a preowned ticket took it home put it in game started there were several different types of instrucment to use in the game (hidden object game) now I have played loads of these gams before but could not figure it out. Went to look in box and no instruction booklet could not be bothered to go back out to ashington so tried to google instructions
Unable to find any so asked boyfriend to take me back to the shops. Got there and explained it had no instructions. The guy who had served me in the morning said that sometimes they dont when they are preowned, I said that I thought that it was new as it had a sale sticker on it and not a preowned one. I explained how there were several things to do and the girl next to him serving someone else chips in that its a hidden object game I said I know but there are several diffrent things to use (to find things) and I couldnt figure it out. She said under her breath that there's not. I had asked the guy to just refund me and he did. He also asked for another sales person to show me where the new games are. He did and they had it for £20 I explained to this guy that I thought the one I bought was new as it had a sale sticker on and it is £12.98 with free delivery online which was the price I paid. I have now just ordered it online. Not going back to that gamestation.
The other item I bought was fine but didnt like the way that the other member of staff who served me went onNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0
