Hi
I have been with Aol many years but have recently taken up with Talk Talk package. Cancelled my direct debit with AOL, talk talk was suppose to take care of that but failed to.
Anyhow AOl keep ringing me , first asking to confirm my name and address postcode etc for which refuse to do, they ringing my why should i give them these details. I paid £14.99 a month never signed anything just ongoing direct debit month in month out.
Does anyone know what they want?
thanks

A payee can't cancel a direct debit. only the a/c holder can.
I don't quite understand what your issue with them is? If you don't want to confirm your details to them you don't have to, just refuse to speak to them. But if you won't, you'll never know. Why not call them instead?
How can anyone else know what they want? It could be an issue over payment? Were you out of contract/paid up to date when you migrated? Your header mentions cancellation charges, but you don't give any details. A cancellation charge will be made if you were still within your minimum term contract when you migrated. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
