Moving to Hereford next week - will take a week or so for broadband to be switched on and need internet continuously. Am considering mobile broadband - any recommendations? Am aware 3mobile is struggling in this area currently.

Use the Ofcom site to check for the nearest cells to where you will be. You need 2100MHz UMTS cells for 3G. GPRS is horrible. Don't trust the coverage maps on provider sites.

I know I said GPRS is horrible but it isn't usually as dire as dialup. :eek:0

Thanks for the advice - after checking the coverage site I went for vodafone mobile broadband I'm south of the city and there's a nice big mast nearby! think i'm going to stick with it as Sky can't offer me what I had at previous address and i can't bear BT internet! :T0
