  • Is the TuneChecker site now closed? Just tried to access it and get a message "It works!". Well, no it doesn't, otherwise I'd be seeing the site not that message... Would be a shame if it did - a very handy site.

seems to be working again at the moment. It's a shame new releases don't always seem to be on there until a week or 2 later :( Just when you need to know who is cheapest..

Is there a reason (apart from trying to get referal clicks via over purchases) the 'top deal' link in the latest MSE email for Coldplay's live album (that's been online since 2009 and mentioned here last year) goes straight to the front page of tunechecker?

they've done it again for today's newsletter re free mp3s on amazon, instead of linking directly to the relevant page. You could've done it via mse's affiliate link and I wouldn't've minded - having to go through tunechecker feels like you're trying to con people. The link automatically opening in a new window plus a blank tab and going to the front page instead of the promised (both in the text & mouse over url) tunechecker freemp3's page is v. annoying :mad:

The link isn't starred (*) either - even though tunechecker is full of affiliate links.

Is there a single relevant page on Amazon listing all of them? This seems good enough, it links to the list of free MP3s collated on TuneChecker. And why shouldn't MSE use the opportunity to raise awareness of TuneChecker?
  • All, Noted a few issues recently where I-Tunes are cheaper than listed on Tune Checker oe shows much higher value than it actually is on I-Tunes. Don't want any of you loosing money. Reported it to Tune Checker for review.

Also currently available on Amazon for £4.49.

Lady Antebellum - Own The Night [+Digital Booklet] MP3 Download

Found this on the MegaShopBot. If you click on the option for MP3s it takes you to TuneChecker.com so I clicked on the option for CDs instead to see what might come up with regards to MP3s. iTunes and Amazon were the only ones the MegaShopBot pulled up for MP3s.
