I haven't found the site to be that useful actually. I know my download sites. There are no decent bargains anymore - first play.com bumped all their mp3s from 70p to 79p or 89p and tesco has now raised theirs to 89p throughout, so we are seeing huge percentage rises.
I have now created an account on US iTunes and got some vouchers there to use on it. At least I save a bit that way.0 -
All tunes on mflow.com are 20p until the 4th of Jan. and if you use the promo codes: XMAS and BIRDISTHEWORD each will give you £1 credit which is 10 free tracks! Fill your boots!0

Anybody help?:mad:0 -
Very useful, but I would find this tool much more useful if it showed me the best place to get songs in high quality FLAC as well as mp3. If I'm going to pay to listen to a song I want it to sound at it's best!
TBH the music industry is missing a trick here as I'm sure if I looked I could download any song in FLAC for free, but if I actually honestly want to pay and get CD quality I have to get a CD and rip it myself. After that I don't want the CDs around so I tend to sell them which TBH is going to be losing the music industry sales.
So, it would be much better if I could buy music in FLAC as easily as mp3 even if I have to pay more, mp3 songs are pretty cheap these days anyway. I remember paying over £5 for a CD single by mistake as I thought it was an album and when I got it home I didn't even like the song! So, 20 years later 99p for a song you can try before you buy is nothing.0 -
Not sure if anyone else has tried but the link on the money saving email I've just received gives a link to get Lady GAGA's new album for £4 but It's not that price when you click on it.0

Same here.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Same for me, the cheapest appears to be £9.99 for the Lady GaGa download0

Try Amazon...£3.99 until Sunday (think that is for the CD)0

Is there a reason (apart from trying to get referal clicks via over purchases) the 'top deal' link in the latest MSE email for Coldplay's live album (that's been online since 2009 and mentioned here last year) goes straight to the front page of tunechecker?"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0
