Think I'll be having an early night tonight.
I need to make dinner - sea bass fillet with champagne butter, veg and mini jacket taties. I might also do some sweet potato wedges to clear a bit of space in the freezer. Just want to sit on the sofa though!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Putting the kids to bed for me is now a case of logging into msn and telling them it's time to log off
Made toad in the hole for tea - was lovely....dishwasher is doing it's stuff, washing is hung on rads and jimjams are on....I do like this time of day.

Sounds very, very complicated......
Toad in the hole on a weekday night was ambitious for me.
Sammy, does your DH get much time off over christmas? Must be so hard for you both with him always away."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Okay, have folded one of two loads of washing, and am pleased to report that only 3 items needed adding to my ironing pile.
Off to put Natasha to bed now - wonder if I could bribe Ryan to go too, with the promise of a dvd in bed?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

nah, take the sea bass and butter out of mr. m's packaging (although that's difficult cos the whoopsie sticker doesn't tear so you have to tear the clingfilm around it). Take the potatoes out of the freezer bag, wrap in foil, put in oven (previously they were taken out of mr A's packaging and split into portions and frozen). Take everything out of one shelf of the freezer to get to the sweet pot wedges. Try and get everything back on the shelf, which even with more room turns out to be impossible. Bung wedges in oven. Chop red onion (bad idea with conjunctivitis), aubergine, orange pepper and courgettes and bung into a foil lined (to cut down on washing up) baking tray, drizzle oil on and bung in oven.
Usually I then wait 30 mins, go back in kitchen, swear, turn oven on, and wait another 30 mins, but this time I turned it on when I put the food in!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I 'think' (he doesn't sound too sure himself!) that he is having from christmas eve till the monday following new year off. So just over a week...he is talking about going away between christmas and new year...just not sure if I can find anywhere to go at this late stage....:o:rolleyes:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
