nah, take the sea bass and butter out of mr. m's packaging (although that's difficult cos the whoopsie sticker doesn't tear so you have to tear the clingfilm around it). Take the potatoes out of the freezer bag, wrap in foil, put in oven (previously they were taken out of mr A's packaging and split into portions and frozen). Take everything out of one shelf of the freezer to get to the sweet pot wedges. Try and get everything back on the shelf, which even with more room turns out to be impossible. Bung wedges in oven. Chop red onion (bad idea with conjunctivitis), aubergine, orange pepper and courgettes and bung into a foil lined (to cut down on washing up) baking tray, drizzle oil on and bung in oven.

Usually I then wait 30 mins, go back in kitchen, swear, turn oven on, and wait another 30 mins, but this time I turned it on when I put the food in!

sounds just like the way I cook!

job update....dishwasher on, washing in dryer....then half hour phone call from distressed sister in law who has been threatened by someone who isn't going to get her wallpaper before christmas......some peoples priorities!

I 'think' (he doesn't sound too sure himself!) that he is having from christmas eve till the monday following new year off. So just over a week...he is talking about going away between christmas and new year...just not sure if I can find anywhere to go at this late stage....:o:rolleyes:

Do you want to go away though or would it be nicer to have him home for a while?

I've had DH home now since 24th June.......whilst I love him to bits there's been plenty of days I'd have just liked my own company.

There must be a happy medium somewhere :D

that is were me and OH differ quite wildly...I love my home and would happily spend all day every day in it. I just would love a bit of company to share it with sometimes.....

OH however, just loves spending every waking hour outside of the home...

If I could find a week in Tenerife somewhere I would go.....

Is Chloe sleeping any better? I don't think I'm ready for coping with the "boyfriend" stage.......must be ruddy hard to see them go off and grow up.

Pooky she was sleeping better till she was poorly the other week. Now she keeps falling asleep at 5pm and then waking up till all hours.....I think she is that tired tonight she will just sleep through..

Boyfriend stage is quite fun...if they get the right boyfriend that is.. You can have a laugh with the boyfriend and all is good till they fall out. Both my DD's fell out with their boyfriends at the weekend...I had a weekend of girls crying on my shoulder all weekend....that was NOT fun....
