I'm not posting much cos I'm reading a good book, and doing 10 mins housework per hour, and waiting for the social worker to turn up.

Squizz, hope Mr Squizz feels better soon.

Thanks Ames - I've still to convince him that when he's fed up he needs to tell me instead of me having to get it out of him.

Oh and when I say 'had' I didn't mean ' I had him at lunchtime' :o :rotfl:

  • Ok, I'm slightly confused. I ordered tickets for Love Never Dies (sequel to Phantom of the Opera) months back, to pick up at the theatre. They've just posted them to me. Strange...

At least you know you've got them, and didn't have to pay for postage, bonus!

Just taking a few minutes break from my OU work, it's heavy going - the video just showed a political execution of a deposed leader. Very interesting though.

Urgh - Ames that sounds horrible. How was the social worker?
Am sitting here debating what to do at the moment. Gotta go to my exam a bit later but don't want to do any revision before I go - I want to be fresh for the exam and I'm not going to learn anything new now - if I don't know it now then it's too late.

    Social worker hasn't been yet.

It wasn't a graphic video but it was sobering. I suppose really it's no different to reading about Henry VIII executing his wives, or Guy Fawkes or whoever, but somehow it being on video (and happening during my lifetime) makes it a bit different.

Good luck with the exam! I agree about not doing any revision, at this late stage it'll probably just confuse you.

It's the second exam for my book keeping level 1 - it's on posting to accounts - purchases , sales and returns - that kind of thing. I feel fairly confident. The time will be tight but as long as I don't do anything silly I should be fine.

Thank you - it's going well so far the course - we've got 1 more module to go and it finishes just after Christmas. I'm debating whether to do level 2 or Sage or both but doing both would be expensive and take up 2 evenings a week. I might just do level 2 as it only runs once a year. Hmmmm. Will see how this evening goes first I guess.
