No they don't it seems. I have had this problem before with their sales. I place an order as soon as the sale starts and then my whole order sits around as 1 by one they decide an item is out of stock so they hold everything else back until that it oos too:mad::mad::mad:
The trick must be to place many orders for 1 item on each.

Just checked and my order sais dispatched on the 3rd of december but if I change my view it tells me the order will be dispatched soon???

I'm not convinced that they do - the stock ordering is not in real time it is behind so the system allows for orders to be placed on out of stock items to an extent.

Whether or not they are getting those items back in stock is another question mark.

I would assume with the assault on their ordering system it will take them a while to sort through it all (similar to their recent online sale if anybody experienced that! )

Not usually with M&S. They are notorious for stock issues. I've had loads of orders in the past (especially with school clothes or sale clothes) where they've charged me and had to refund part because they couldn't fill the order.

I'm not holding my breath now. :rolleyes:
