If you open programmes, there seems to be quite a long list of windows programmes. Accessories isn't visible until you scroll down. If you then open accessories, paint is there..well, at least it is for me.

Surely the stock levels take into account orders yet to be processed/despatched though?

I wonder how the bank card "changing" details thingy works if you don't have stored bank card details?
I never opt to store my details (unless it's PLAY.COM, where you have no option! :mad:) on any website. So that if they don't have the card info, they can't change it as it wouldn't have processed successfully to start with, if you see what I mean?!

Just a thought, but I don't work in banking so don't shoot me down if I'm wrong,

My order says dispatching soon and price not tampered with,(so far)

oo i didnt see these when i ordered imagine they had sold out by the time i got round to ordering, they look lovely though im sure who ever you brought them for will love them.

i bought at 1 am they sold out very quickly as ppl have pointed out some ppl hduk were very greedy

I wouldnt worry about it they get new deliveries in all the time to fill these orders so dont panic, thats why the delivery dates have varied for some people

To be fair they may just be saying that so you cancel the order for the goods that they are going to be making a loss on?

It is a bit of a mystery to me the M&S ordering/stock control system
I've had this happen to me previously when ordering in the sale and at busy times.
From memory if they are not going to get the outstanding item back in stock they do eventually dispatch the remainder of the order.
I know their stock system doesn't update in real time so therefore it is common for customers to be placing orders and paying for items that are already out of stock

From conversations with M&S customer service they do not seem to fully understand their own ordering system either

Not sure, but isn't the stock check carried out at checkout and then reserved for those orders? I've had things disappear out of my basket before as they have gone out of stock as I'm checking out, as I'm sure everybody else has too.

I ordered the electric corkscrew which went out of stock about 2AM. I have however received a despatch email today for the corkscrew & one other gift item.
