I eat only square ended chips approx 5-6 cm's long...gotta be homefries. I have between 3 and 7 on the plate (don't want to be greedy).

Tins must face you in the cupboard when you open the door to [STRIKE]say hello[/STRIKE] take one out. If they face the other way, well, that's just rude;)

Received my order-

3 x Double Wine Box
1 x Whisky and Water Jug
2 x Wine and Caraffe
2 x Cosmopolitan Gift Set

Only the 2 Wine and caraffes and the Whisky and water jug set is useable, the rest is smashed and bashed to bits. Is it me or does anyone else have problems with M&S overpackaging things that do not need it and grossly under packaging everything else that does?

1 thin sheet of bubblewrap round the 2 Cosmo sets which are in flimsy plastic boxes which have collapsed in transit, the bubble wrap has fallen off and the contents are now smashed.

3 wine boxes (wooden box with 2 bottles of wine, wine thermometer, bottle ring and pourer) Thise had NO protective packaging whatsoever, all 3 tightly squeezed into a small thin cardboard box - all the perspex box fronts are smashed, one thermometer smashed into bits and the flimsy plastic bottle holders have collapsed causing the bottles to come loose damaging the interior - the wine bottles themselves are intact but the labels are ripped!

oooh ooooooh! he's been!! :j:j(wasn't too painful on the eye either;)) he had to come twice (as they say) 'cos he parked down the hill and M&S had sent the order in 3 boxes so he couldn't carry it all in one go. Double the pleasure...he told me he was puffed out...bless.... ooh maybe I should have invited him in for a tipple? too late, he's gone!

Just waiting for festive fizz on OH's order now. :beer:

Oooh do hope the thermometer didnt have mercury in it......need a mercury clean up kit for that!! :exclamati

I think i must be living in the wrong area, no Fit delivery drivers here :-(

Mind you i do have a little story, I was waiting in for my M&S stuff yesterday and i was so hungry and needed to go shop to get some bread, I did not want to leave the house in fear i would miss mr Delivery man. I wrote i nice little note on the door saying i would be 5 mins please wait and drove fast to our local spa (2 mins walk but it was raining) when i got their the delivery driver was just getting in his van i turned round and drove home as quickly has possible !!

He went up my street past my house and parked 8 doors away, i was peeping from the upstairs window thinking wheres my stuff ?? he goes to that persons house then jumps back in his van reverses back and drops my parcels off.

RELIEF and then i finally went to the shop :-)
