Worse Job for all you OCD ers-- Prison Officer. Can you imagine how many times you'd have to go back to make sure all the cell doors WERE ACTUALLY SHUT.!

I missed my bus into Grantham the other day as I had to come home as I'd switched the PC off, but I wasn't sure about the monitor and I needed to check.

I would have been gone a total of 3 hours so I don't know what I thought the dog was going to do with a switched on monitor, but hey ho!

bemybaby01384 is really starting to annoy me. MSE is all about getting the best deal and helping others get it too.

It's not so much the massive order that bothers me (although it really really does!) it's the attitude that really gets to me, almost boasting. Is there really any need for it?

Ahh I wouldn't be upset. If Bemy is smart she'll sell her £800+ stash to help with the 7 CCJs she says she's got in another thread. Also judging by her posts scrabbling around for discount codes to buy her children computers, I'd say she's well on her way to her second bankruptcy.

I'd spend a bit more time on the 'Up your Income' and a little less on the 'Grabbit' and 'Vouchers' if I were you Bemy ;)

Our usual driver is an English bloke (I'm in Scotland so the different accent is noticeable), I have no idea where he's from, but his accent is nice and he's usually friendly. Just lately though he's been a bit quieter and hasn't looked very happy. I haven't said anything to him as a) when you're a stranger there's not really a good way to say 'what's up with your face? :Dand b) it's not really any of my business and I dont want him thinkng I'm just a nosy git.

I mentioned it to my OH the other day and he said he'd noticed the same.

So, if there are any delivery drivers reading this....some of your customers do actually notice you as a person and not just the bringer of parcels you know.:D

    Right today I have rec'd:

    DHL (phwar! :j) - OU work :(
Royal Mail - Body Shops Bargains :j
HDNL - Christ knows, something he-who-should-know-better has ordered
City Link - Amazon stuff (not bargains :( )
Someone else in a white van - ASOS £1 bargains :j

No M&S and no Thorntons :o

ETA - They all arrived within one half hour, it looked like my house was the local 'drive thru' knocking shop for a while there!
