But I drench my roast dinner etc in gravy, figure that one out. I used to love custard and rice pudding together when I was younger but Id have them in seperate bowls and add one spoonful of custard at a time. :rotfl:(another weirdo here!)
What does the festive fizz taste like, is it really winey?I hate wine and in fact all alcohol except baileys! I dont usually drink but the festive fizz sounds nice with the fizzy blackcurrant juice?
No - it's more blackcurranty! :rotfl:so you should be ok
Not that I've cracked mine open already to try it(was only delivered at 7am today)
I had some last year and it was lovely - made a change from Bucks Fizz0 -

galvanizersbaby wrote: »lol! how would you order when you eat out in a restaurant Polly?
Would you order lots of side dishes rather than a main meal on one plate?
Lol, no I didn't know how to describe it, but I meant that if, for example, I was having a roast dinner, I would never put a sprout and some carrot on my fork together. I would eat all the sprouts and then move on to the next vegetable. My OH just kind of devours it mish mash pig slurry style - we don't even see the going of it - blink and you miss it kind of thing "A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

I don't go out for sunday lunch because they always mess the vegetables up by mixing them with everything else; I am going for christmas day lunch though and have specifically requested seperate plates for the veg and no gravy. I don't care if they think i'm a ninny, I'm paying £70 a head so I expect any reasonable requests to be met else I shall cause a stink.:T
Yes I should think so too for that money
Hope you don't have to cause a stink and they keep everything separate!
I'm with aliasojo's OH on the egg - especially fried - this is one thing I'm not keen on and a fried egg tends to cover your plate in grease - yucky! - just the smell is enough to put me off0 -
